DOTA2 is now testing stage with NA, SEA, EU, RU, CN and Oceania servers. The evidence that Valve puts Korea on the list of the next testing regions has found within the latest update file. According to the file, Korea will be included sometimes in the near future for testing.
Since Nexon is the publisher for Korea, Nexon told "DOTA2 test will be operated like a normal Beta test and Nexon will support servers for it. However, Nexon only supports servers since Valve is doing test and operating DOTA2 through Steam. When the test will be is unknown."
It is known that DOTA2 will be dubbed in Korean and the work is now going off well with Nexon. Nexon told "With the start of the dubbing work, localization for DOTA2 is ongoing now. The inspection for Korean localization will be started from March."
Nexon announced DOTA2 service is on their schedule at the last earning announcement. Many estimated DOTA2 test in Korea is likely to start during the first half of the year.
Personal thought: It is understandable that Vavle is busy on expanding its territory on gaming world, as they just want to make DotA 2 more well-known. However, for me, as a DorA/DotA 2 fan for a long time. I care more about the open beta date. The invite-only beta is not really a good thing for me as I can not get a key to try it out. So Vavle, please give us the exact open beta date. I am eager for it!
